Infinite deception with a side of revenge. Speaking of which, I loved getting to know the ones we got up close and personal with in this part of the story! I loved Emilia’s character growth here, she was so driven when it came to her desire for vengeance for her sister, but also had to show such bravery in the face of the princes of Hell. Kingdom of the Cursed skated its way into more of an NA category than YA I guess? TBH I’m still completely confused over where that line gets drawn, but anyway, there was a lot more smut, which is exactly what I was looking for when I started groaning about the rumour this book would be more romance centered. I now have a burn on my hand to remind me of how engrossed I was. But once I got into it, I really got in to it. Maybe the beginning was slow? Maybe my attention span was having a toddler moment, I’m not sure.

I must admit, the first part of the book took me a bit to get through.
